Where are Adyn products made?

All Adyn products are 100% made in Oregon.

How do I assemble Adyn products?

All tables can be assembled (or disassembled) in minutes. One less thing to worry about when you’re moving.

Assembly requires only one tool, an allen wrench, which is provided in each box. Tables are shipped with steel screws that fasten the four legs to the birch plywood tabletop. The screws tighten into pre-drilled threaded inserts, which can be done 100% by hand —- no power drill needed.

Our tables are heavy, which reflects the robustness of the wood and steel we use. Beautiful, sustainably sourced birch plywood that you won’t want to throw away.

Who designs Adyn products?

All products are designed by Bonnie, Adyn’s co-founder and Head of Design. Based in Portland, Oregon, Bonnie has been practicing architecture for over 30 years.

We believe that architects make the best furniture designers. They see the world as a marriage of form and function, and are able to balance artful design with a rigorous attention to practicality and proportion.

Our work is inspired by some of our favorite architects who also designed furniture, including: Aalto, Scarpa, Mies van der Rohe, and Le Corbusier. Decades on, their designs remain in style precisely because of this balance.

I live in or near Portland, OR. Can I pick-up my order?

Of course! Please send an email to support@adyndesign.com before placing your order, and we will arrange your in-person pick-up. All delivery charges are waived for in-person pickups.

Sustainability
Are your products environmentally friendly?

Our sustainability mission sits at the heart of Adyn. We approach sustainability from three angles:


  • Materials: Adyn sources sustainable materials whenever possible including responsibly-harvested wood, certified laminates, and post-consumer recycled packaging.
  • Longevity: There is no better way for us to reduce our carbon footprint than to create well-made furniture that reduces consumer waste. Our first and foremost Principle is to create furniture with a 25+ year lifespan.
  • Carbon Neutrality: Like all furniture manufactures, Adyn has a carbon footprint. As we work to reduce our carbon impact, Adyn has made a long-term commitment to track and offset all emissions related to materials, production, and shipping.
What does carbon neutral mean?

A company that has net neutral or net negative carbon emissions. Companies can achieve a carbon neutral status either by ensuring their operations produce zero carbon emissions or by balancing out all carbon emissions with an equivalent amount of carbon savings or mitigation.

How are Adyn products carbon neutral?

Adyn currently achieves carbon neutrality by purchasing offsets for every ton of carbon produced, including emissions from: materials, production, and shipping. This means we invest in carbon reduction or mitigation projects to offset our emissions.

Care
How should I clean Adyn products?

Laminate: For daily cleaning, we recommend using a cloth damp with water only. Unless specifically designed for laminate, cleaning detergents are not recommended, as they may leave a film on the surface of the furniture.

Natural Birch: For daily cleaning, we recommend using a cloth damp with water only. Avoid leaving standing liquids on the table for prolonged periods so as to not damage the wood.

Stainless Steel: Stainless steel legs can be cleaned with a cloth damp with either water or stainless steel-specific cleaning solutions.

Powder-Coated Steel: Powder coated steel legs can be cleaned with a cloth damp with water.

Is there anything I should not put on the table?

We recommend that coasters are used when placing drinks or hot items on any Adyn product. Please be mindful of any potted plants on the furniture so as to avoid prolonged water exposure.

Should I be mindful of where I set Adyn products?

Adyn products are made from solid plywood, which can be affected by extended exposure to extreme temperatures, sunlight, and humidity. Though all wood has a UV resistant finish, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause minor discoloration.

All products are designed for indoor use. Adyn products should not be placed close to any cooling vents or heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces, or wood burning stoves. Additionally, high levels of humidity can cause the wood to warp.

Shipping
Where do you ship?

At this time, our standard shipping policy covers all 48 states in the contiguous United States. If you would like to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally, please contact us at support@adyndesign.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your order.

We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders are subject to a standard 15% shipping fee.

Our shipping fee helps cover costs associated with processing, handling, packaging, and delivery.

How will my order ship?

Depending on the size of the item, orders will be shipped via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or one of our scheduled freight partners.

How will my order be delivered?

FedEx Ground and UPS Ground will be delivered to the main entrance of the delivery address and may require a signature. Once the order has left the Adyn warehouse, you will receive tracking information from the delivery partner that will specify if a signature is required and may offer scheduling options.

If products are shipped freight, our delivery partner will reach out directly via email or phone to schedule delivery. All standard freight orders are delivered curbside. Depending on where the product is delivered, our freight partner can offer in-home delivery at an additional cost, which you can request while scheduling delivery. Generally, our freight partner will give you a call to confirm scheduling 24 hours prior to the delivery.

When will my order ship?

All items are shipped within 3 business days of receiving the order unless noted otherwise. Delivery is typically complete within 2-6 business days of the date the product leaves our warehouse.

Where is my order shipping from?

All products are shipped from our warehouse in Portland, Oregon.

How many packages will I receive?

All dining tables will be delivered in a single box, flat-packed. These products may or may not be delivered on pallets.

How can I track my order?

Once the order has been shipped, our shipping partner will send you an email with tracking information.

Will I need to schedule a delivery?

Yes, our products that are shipped freight generally require a scheduled delivery. Once the product has shipped, our logistics partner will reach out directly to schedule the delivery.

Can I change my delivery date?

If you have already scheduled a delivery date with our shipping partner and you need to change the date, please reach out to the logistics partner directly.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

All freight deliveries will be scheduled. If you are no longer available at the agreed-upon delivery time, you will be subject to a redelivery fee that will be paid directly to the freight carrier.

Is white glove delivery available?

White glove delivery is available, depending on your delivery location and at an additional cost. If you would like to request white glove delivery, please send an email to support@adyndesign.com, and we will set it up if possible.

Order
How do I check the status of my order?

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have questions about the order, please email support@adyndesign.com with your order number in the subject line.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel or change your order, please send an email to support@adyndesign.com as soon as possible. You will receive a full refund if your order is canceled before it leaves our warehouse.

Do you provide bulk order discounts?

If you would like to order 5+ products to the same delivery address, please reach out to support@adyndesign.com for bulk order pricing and reduced shipping costs. Depending on the quantity, there may be a lead time added to the fulfillment timeline.

Returns & Exchanges
What is your return process?

If you aren't happy, we aren’t happy. We are here to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or issues at support@adyndesign.com.


We offer easy returns on any pieces within 14 days of delivery. The piece must be in its original condition and returned in the original packaging. If you would like to return your product, please email us at support@adyndesign.com, and we will send you a return label.


All returns must be in transit with an approved carrier within 7 days of receiving the return label.

Do you offer free returns?

While free returns are available within 14 days of delivery, original shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Warranty & Claims
What is the Adyn warranty?

Adyn products are designed to last. All pieces come with a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery that covers any material or workmanship defects.


The warranty does not cover general wear and tear of the product or damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, improper maintenance, or modification.


Because birch plywood is a natural product, one’s environment can affect both appearance and longevity. Harsh environments such as direct sunlight and exposure to humidity can cause products to warp, split, or change color, none of which are protected under warranty. All products are designed for indoor use only and should not be placed on or near heating/cooling vents.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or is missing parts?

If the product you receive is damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing parts, please send us an email at support@adyndesign.com within 7 days of receipt. If making a damage claim, please include photographs of the product and the box in which it was sent.

Trade
Do you offer a trade program?

Yes! We value relationships with architects and designers. Trade discounts of 15% are available upon request. Please reach out to support@adyndesign.com.
